DESCRIPTION:Restricted Attendance: By Invitation only to students of Snow College\n \nA forum to discuss your own viewpoint\, without judgment\, and get real answers to sincere questions of understanding from other viewpoints. \n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nDescription\nJoin us for a free two-part intensive workshop that brings together Red (conservative or Republican-leaning) and Blue (liberal or Democratic-leaning) citizens for moderated activities and structured discussions that reduce stereotyped thinking\, clarify disagreements\, build relationships and find common ground through listening and learning rather than declaring and debating. \nSchedule\nThis is an all day in-person workshop. In part 1\, participants get to know one another and a foundation of trust is established. This paves the way for a deeper dive into authentic\, respectful and thought-provoking questions and answers in part 2. NOTE: It is important to be available and committed for both parts. \nWho can attend?\nAnyone interested in developing a deeper understanding of\, and connection with\, people whose political beliefs differ from their own is welcome. There are two ways to join a Red/Blue Workshop: as a Participant or as an Observer. \n\nParticipants engage in small – and large – group discussions with individuals of both the same and different political persuasions. DESCRIPTION:Once every thirty to thirty-three years\, the first day of Lent\, a forty day Christian season of prayer\, fasting\, and reflection\, and the first day of Ramadan\, a 30 day season of prayer\, fasting and reflection\, are on the same day. In 2026 Braver Faith will host a webinar on that day to honor people of all faiths — traditional and nontraditional — to pray\, reflect and gather in solidarity with one another. The session will be led by leaders of the Braver Faith team\, and will include brief orientations to Ramadan and Lent\, readings from the Qur’an and New Testament\, moments of silence\, and music. \nAs tensions escalate\, disagreements intensify\, and fear metastasizes\, we are called to be braver.
